# What version of PlayStation Home is working?

## Currently, we are utilizing retail version 1.86.

* As of right now, our main focus is to work on the 1.86 client version of Home due to it being compatible with our current networking infrastructure. In addition, to this, since 1.86 was the last version of Home this means almost all minigames and spaces can run "out-of-the-box" without running into compatibility issues and internal bugs. Lastly, 1.86 has overall better security meaning older exploits that use to destroy the overall playability on Home can be mitigated.

## In the future could older versions of PlayStation Home work online?

* As of right now, older versions are currently not a priority for the team to work on. However, once 1.86 is stable and is out of closed beta, the team will consider working on older clients as some users like the original beta "vibe" of Home.
